This session will take a deep dive into restaurant menu trends and activity in Southeast Asia. Using Technomic’s global menu database, we will discuss key initiatives and trending limited time offers within key players in the market, coupled with insights into the consumer and what the outlook for innovation is.

David Henkes
Senior Principal, Technomic Inc.
Dave's specific responsibilities include client engagement, project oversight and general industry relations. Since joining the firm in 1996, Dave has conducted and managed a wide variety of proprietary and multi-client engagements, both domestic and international. He also oversees the firm’s Beverage Practice and also acts in an additional role as Head of Strategic Partnerships. His range of experience is wide and includes market and strategic planning, customer satisfaction benchmarking, opportunity analyses, acquisition due diligence evaluations, new product evaluation and concept testing, usage/attitude analyses, and distribution systems analyses. Besides, Dave has been a featured speaker at a number of high profile industry events, conferences and symposiums. He is a current board member of the Chicago area Beyond Hunger organization and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Foodservice Marketing Club. He sits on the Dean’s Business Advisory Council at University of Illinois/Chicago and is past president of the Business Alumni Association there.
