Emil is an Insight Manager at Euromonitor International and is now responsible for Foods insights across Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, she has 10 years of experience in the industry, and has been with Euromonitor since 2014. Emil has conducted market research across various industries, with experience guiding clients through disruptors like ghost kitchens and plant-based alternatives. Her previous experience includes managing research projects across Asia and leading cooking ingredients and meals research globally. She hails from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Emil has been quoted widely in print and contributed articles to trade media during her tenure at Euromonitor International; some examples include AFP, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal and the Asia Pacific Food Industry. She was also invited to share her insights on food and the halal market through media recordings with Channel News Asia and Reuters. She has conducted company webinars and workshops, and speaks at conferences across Asia Pacific, with her most recent appearances as a speaker/panellist at the Plant-based Asia Summit 2023 and Malaysia Palm Oil Economic Review and Outlook Seminar 2024.
